To use these cheats you need to apply them as command line paremeters.
Just run the game in this way (edit game's shortcut):

To access all tracks in beginner mode change
trackDescrip=kTxtintermediate/advanced to trackDescrip=kTxtBeginner.

changing following strings wil give you all tracks for $10
eg:    m_price[0]=10
       m_price[1]=10
       m_price[2]=10
       m_price[3]=10


Money Cheat:

To purchase cars at a cheap price ($10 each), open up the cars.ini file in your
CARS folder (from the main NFSHP2 game folder) using Notepad.
Change the following lines:

Go to the "NEED FOR SPEED HOT PURSUIT 2" folder. Then in to the "Cars" folder
Open the file named Cars.ini [Save it as another file (Cars default or something)]
Then you can see some thing like this, (but not only a one)

Now, you'll be able to buy all the cars for $10.

Use a text editor to edit the "cars.ini" file in the "cars" sub-folder in the
game directory. Change the values after the "price=" and "nfsprice=" lines to
"10". You can now buy all cars for $10 each.


Faster cars:
------------
Use a text editor to edit the "cars.ini" file in the "cars" sub-folder in the
game directory. Change the "mass=" value to "100" for a faster car.


Dodge Viper GTS:
----------------
Get 2 million points to unlock the NFS edition of the Dodge Viper GTS.


Lamborghini Murcielago:
-----------------------
Get 3 million points to unlock the NFS edition of the Lamborghini Murcielago.


Extra points:
-------------
* If you see a police car ahead, ram it to get him to chase you. Lose the police
  car and you will get extra points for a hit-and-run. Look for the dirt road
  shortcuts to lose the police and get ahead of other drivers.

* Choose be the police in Hot Pursuit mode. You will get 25,000 points each time
  you complete one mini-mission.

* Start You're The Cop mode in single player under the beginner difficulty setting.
  Select either the Crown Victoria or the BMW M5 (the opponents are easier to catch).
  Then, go to National Forest and catch the fourth and third cars. On the last two,
  hit the third one to make him lose control, then arrest the first place car.
  Immediately catch the second player that you forced to lose control to minimize
  the time to around 138, if done quickly enough. The procedure is quick but easy,
  giving you over 25,000 points if you throw in a couple of jumps. Then, restart
  and do it again.  


Ferrari F50:

Lead a single race, full grid, advanced, for eight laps to unlock the NFS edition
of the Ferrari F50.


Lamborgini Diablo 6.0 VT:

Faster cars:
------------
Use a text editor to edit the "cars.ini" file in the "cars" sub-folder in the
game directory. Change the "mass=" value to "100" for a faster car.

Open the folder of a powerful car, such as the F1, F50, etc. Copy the "car.ini"
file from here and paste it over the original "car.ini" file of a slower car in
its own folder (for example, the Elise). This instantly gives that car the speed
and handling characteristics of the better vehicle. Note: Back up the original
"car.ini" file of the slower car in the event that you want to revert it back
to its standard settings.


Cheap Cars & Tracks:

Open the cars.ini file in the Game's CARS folder using notepad and change these lines

price=10
nfsprice=10

For cheap tracks open tracks.ini in the TRACKS folder and change all lines starting
with m_price to look similar to this

m_price[0]=10


Free money:
-----------
To gain extra money you must first have not bought too many tracks. End the game
if it is not already closed. Go to the location of your file. Usually it is stored
under C:\program files\EAGames\Hot Pursuit 2. Next go into the file called tracks.
In this folder you should find a text file called tracks, open it. If you scroll
down you will notice that all of the tracks are grouped in an organized order.
you should notice three or four numbers with some of them being different and
some of them the same. All of these numbers should be in the thousands. Change
all of these numbers to a negative number such as -60000. You may wish to change
all the numbers for each track to a negative number. Exit the program clicking
YES to save. Start the game and buy a couple of tracks, when you buy them the
computer will end up paying you money. You will know if you have done the program
correctly if the computer says the track costs -60000. Also you can switch the
track to backward!


Gametip:

Your cheat was very helpful, I am not a gamer but my 6 year old grandson is,
It worked fine with these mod\'s.  change car price to price=0, nfsprice=0.
change track price to m_price= just put a \"-\" in front of exesting price.
Then start game using desktop shortcut and you will find all cars and tracks
are open plus you get credited the cost of the track. enjoy

At first go to the directory where you have installed the game . There you
will find a folder named [cars].Open it .Here you will find a file named
[cars.ini]. It is usually a read only file.ringht click on it ,go to it's
property ,erase the tick on read only. Now open it with a text editor like -
notepad. Here you will find the cars are in a serial way. named [car0] ,
[car1], [car2] in this way. Here you will find two line for all cars.They

NOTE - The following will alter your game files. It is highly suggested
that you make a back-up copy of your files before you alter them beyond
all recognition.

You can unlock all the cars and tracks by reducing the price of locked
cars/tracks to either 0 or a very low value. To do this, simply use
notepad to edit the cars.ini file in the following directory:

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2\Edit Cars\

You can do the same for the Tracks.ini file in the directory
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2\Edit Cars\tracks\

When you reload the game you can see the results.

Cheat:

I bet this is the best cheat in this edition of NFS. The result will make
every gamer and car lover laugh. This invovles some editing work.Open your
NFS folder, then open cars folder.Open the folder of car you want to edit.
For eg-'elise'.It will have many subfolders. Again there will be a folder
named car,[car_hp is the nfs version of the car and car_cop is obviosly the
cop version].You can edit any version. {But be sure to drive that version}.
In the car folder you will actually see that EA has written that tuning
of the car is possible.Select the matter from AeroDragCoefficient=x.xxx to
FinalGearRatio=x.xx.Delete it. Don't close that folder.Then open any other
car folder for eg-'f1lm',copy that car's AeroDragCoefficient=x.xxx
toFinalGearRatio=x.xx. in the initial car's folder. Close the folder
accepting the canges.This literally means you change the engine of the car.
[Backup the initial car's folder if you want to drive the original car].
This has unbelievable results .How about this,the elise which goes only till
200kmph was clocked 345kmph by me.Don't change any other matter.Because that
can damage the graphic settings and programming of the car.Write to me if
you enjoy this cheat. You can create your own car by this.Any person knowing
about tuning can make their own creation ,for eg-a Holden with clk-gtr
performance.Imagine and ENJOY!!!!!!

Cheating with TIME:

Open NFSHP2\FrontEnd\Championship.ini

Change all the values of m_lapTime to the values of your choice
e.g m_lapTime[0]=500
    m_lapTime[1]=400
    m_lapTime[2]=300

The values(500,400,300) indicate minutes.
i.e setting m_lapTime[2]=300 will set the time limit for winning GOLD to
5 minutes!!!!!!!
i.e you can easily win GOLD at TimeTrial events.


Cheating with LAPS:
-------------------


Bored of playing 2,3 or 4 laps for a single race??
Well with this cheat you can change no. of laps to 1

Open NFSHP2\FrontEnd\Championship.ini

Change all the values of m_numlaps i.e   m_numLaps[1]=1
m_numLaps[2]=1
m_numLaps[3]=1
m_numLaps[4]=1

You will be required to play only "1 Lap" for each race!!

m_numLaps[2], m_numLaps[3], m_numLaps[4] indicates that it is a four race event
2,3,4 indicate race number

i.e when no. of races > 1 some where it will be written as
m_numRaces=4 or m_numRaces=3 or m_numRaces=2.


Easy Win Champship:
-------------------

Go to the directory -
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2
\FrontEnd\Championship.ini see there something like
this= m_AvailableCarList[0]=clkgtr (or any other name)
change it to the= m_AvailableCarList[0]=f50 (or any other
name from the cars folder) for the fastest car in the game
to win the championship.
Also change the value from
m_reward[0]=3000 to m_reward[0]=100000
m_reward[1]=60000 to m_reward[0]=200000
m_reward[2]=150000 to m_reward[0]=400000
When you will win the championship you will get a reward of 400000.

cars and tracks. first edit the the cost of tracks and cars .better put
cost of cars to a negative value (-999999..). when u unlock the track it
will give a goddamn amount .Also u will get NFS editions and u can go
with unlimited speeds...BEWARE.. dont go for very high amounts like 100
billions b'coz it will make all your money to negative value.
The designers set the account money only to a limeted extent . beyond
that amoutn ur money will become negative value....... Take care

Increasing the amount of Reward:

First go to the NFS Folder(the place where U have stored the main files

This is not a cheat but it works.when a cop starts chasing you, drive from the
oncoming traffic.the cop will not chase you but in some exceptional cases they
might chase you and you have a chance to crash them onto oncoming traffic. But
beware you too have a chance of crashing onto the oncoming traffic.

To win in chmapion ship and challanges in files search for car folder. Copy it to
where you have installed game then edit only carrer folder and change mass to 0.000
for all cars in championship race you will see that all cars become unstable and
you win easily.

Right-click the nfs shortcut icon and select properties.click find target and select
the folder named "cars".select your favourite car's folder and open the notepad and
reduce the mass of the car.this will awesomely increase the speed of the car.


CHEAT FOR EARNING MORE MONEY:

Go to the folder of installation then open cars folder in it open cars.ini file
using notepad and change the money as by keeping "-" minus symbol before the price.
Bby this you can earn more money so that you can buy more cars and unlock more
locations and tracksi too did it and gained lots of money enjoy the game.

Open up the game's files and search for a file named Championship.ini.
PLEASE REMEMBER: Doing this may corrupt or ruin your game file or other

Cheat: No Police Chases:

(Caution this cheat requires you to edit game files, create a copy of the file
before editing)this cheat enables you to race without the hassle of being chased
in any event. First go to the game directory and open the "AI" folder. Then open
the "AIChaseDefs" configuration. Once open, change all the numbers in these four
lines to say 0.

At the main menu select single challenge and then select knockout lap and select

and select the other options as you desire, then select the track and then select a
car, then play, don't worry if you lose, because, if you lose you will get $1500 and
if you win you will get $2000. You can repeat this as many times as you want.


CRASH A CAR (except for traffic)

If you want to crash a car (except for traffic) then do this 3 easy steps-

1.go near a car
2.hit the car's down-left/right side and
3.the car will CRASH!

Firsy go to C:/Program files/Ea games/Need4speed Hp2/Ai/Airacers go to entiny13
and under entiny13 is should say Traffic and down a bit it should say speed=35
change it to 1.


Get All the Cars and Tracks:
----------------------------
Here is a simple code if u want all the cars and tracks. First go to my computer
and click on drive D or C (were ever u installed your game.) Then scroll down till
u see a folder called TRACKS. Click on it and then click on another file that say
tracks and u will see that every track is copied in a neat order. And u will see
the word (example:) m_prices(2)=30,000 just change that 30,000 into zero and when
u are done exit out and it will say do u want to save click yes. then exit out of
the file and the folder and look for a file called Cars and do the same thing click
on it and click on another file called cars. And it will neatly show each car in
order. For example scroll down to your favorite car (Mercedes Benz clk_gtr) and
change your favorites car price and nfs price to zero.
Note: when u change nfs price to zero the nfs edition car will cost only 2,000.
Then u can change all of them. Get out of the folder and save when it asks u and
exit everything out. Click on your game and single race and if u want to change
track it will be on 0 just unlock it without paying and something with the cars
except nfs edition.


Easy Quota races:
-----------------
To win the many Quota races do the following. When you see the car you are chasing,
do not put your sirens on immediately because the car will try to escape. Wait until
you are directly behind him, then put your sirens on. By doing this you can catch
the car faster. This works 95% of the time.


Extra points:
-------------
Go to You're The Cop mode. When you start, put your sirens on first then call for
a roadblock. They will put out a spike strip. All four speeders will run over them.
You can then arrest them. Immediately afterwards, you will get the points.


Get the police off your tail:
-----------------------------
* When you have a cop on your tail, wait for it to come to your side. When it is
  trying to ram you from the side, brake as fast as possible. The best area to do
  this is at Coastal Parkland. The best car to use to make you crack up at the cop
  is the McLaren F1 LM or the McLaren F1. If done correctly, you will see the cop
  ram into the wall.

* If you are getting chased by the cops, let the cop get a bit ahead of you and
  then do a California Stop to the officer. It should spin him out and you should
  only swerve slightly. This will give you plenty of time to get away from the
  cops.
  Note: A California Stop is when you hit the back left/right wheel with your
  front wheel. This will spin the car out.


How to do donuts with lots of rubber with 4 drive car:
------------------------------------------------------

You edit "car.ini" in the Diablovt folder to give the engine heaps more HP then drive it
with a manual box. You may have to crash on a wall as well to start spinning You can also
do donuts in reverse as well. The game sometimes runs out of rubber to lay but there is
plenty of smoke.

In the "Sinclaire Residence" level, you can find a locked door with the words

"Janitor Bob" written on it. Now, near the end of the level, next to a funky

statue there's a secret room (press use on the wall near the window) and you'll

find the key for the Janitor's closet. What's to find inside? Well let's just

say that Bob has a hefty collection of nudie mags, and isn't afraid to use them.

Also in the level, in the surveillance room you can take a peek at Elexis in her

hot tub while hmm... "enjoying herself". Of course, if the view isn't too good

for you you can always use the /noclip cheat to get to see her up close and

personal, as she doesn't react to your presence!

Spider-Man 3

Cheat Codes:

Defeating Michael:
------------------
When you are trying to open the boarded up windows, if you are far away from him
he will do a long jump towards you. Then it takes him a few seconds to recover
to attack. Before he jumps, do not stand in the yellow circles. Instead, stand
next to the wall opposite the windows. He will now jump to there, recover, etc.
while he is recovering, pull down the boards. When he jumps into the light, attack
him. Keep doing this until his and his wife's life runs out to complete the level.


Token collection:
-----------------
While swinging through the city you might hear a chime. This indicates that you
are close to a token.


Web swinging upgrades:
----------------------
You can earn upgrades for this ability by using it a lot.


Defeating Venom:
----------------
Before this battle, go to the upgrade menu and make sure you have the melee attack
volley. Then, fight. Depending on your health level, you may or may not want to use
the power up. At the moment, you can easily jump over Venom, confuse him, and chip
away at his health. Keep doing this until his black suit begins to "glow". Now when
you jump over him he will run away. This is a good opportunity to use your new
attack and chip at him, occasionally giving some hits. Keep hitting him until his
"glow" gets bigger and eventually Harry will tell you to knock Venom into the air.
He'll fall back to the ground same as before, easily confused. Repeat this cycle
until his health is really low and you can finish him off.


Easy kills:
-----------
To easily defeat enemies jump then keep tapping both [Attack] keys.


Rival gang reward:
------------------
Choose any of the gang patrol missions (Apocalypse, Dragon Tails, H-Bombers, Waste
Tribe) and defeat all of their marked territories that match their logos to earn 3
experience points.


Random gang:
------------
When you go to a crime area controlled by the police, you will be assigned a task
involving a random gang. On completion of the tasks the effectiveness of the police
will be increased (as seen by the rings around the police symbol on the map). The
more rings you have, the harder it is for gangs to take control of police-controlled
areas and the more likely it is for the police to take over gang controlled areas.


Completion bonuses:
-------------------
Successfully complete the game as Spider-Man to unlock Symbiote Spider-Man's story
mode. Collect all 50 Black Spider Tokens to get the black Spider-Man suit to wear
whenever desired for as long as you want. Collect 100 Meteorite Pieces to play as
Venom.


Defeating Michael Morbius:
--------------------------

In your final encounter with Shriek, she temporarily takes away your Black suit,
and figures from your imagination attack you (your loved ones). You can kill them
with one hit, but it is pointless. Wait until the Black suit recharges, then
switch over, revealing your true enemies. Attack Shriek until she changes you
back to the old Spider-Man. Repeat the previous steps and she will collapse.


Defeating Michael Morbius and Shriek:
-------------------------------------
Wait until Michael is about to rush you, then open the window. He will be
temporarily weakened. Beat him up. Shriek will heal him, losing some of her health.
Repeat this until he dies, and she flees the scene.


Defeating Sandman:
------------------
In your first encounter with Sandman, do not try to attack him, just stay close to
him. Counter-attack him several times on different levels to finally battle him.
Unfortunately, you must use the Black suit to damage him. Just hit him around until
you are prompted to give him a bath. Keep doing this cycle until you defeat him.


Easy gang eradication:
----------------------
Immediately after you defeat The Sandman for the first time in the "Mary Jane's
Favorite Band" mission and before you "Meet Mary Jane At The Restaurant", you
cannot take off the Black suit. During this time period, which does not end
until you start the next mission, you can wear the Black suit without any damage
being done to you. Use this time to clear the city of all gang activity.
This may take awhile, but it is easier with the Black suit.


Meteorite collection:
---------------------
As Black costume Spider-Man, you can find the meteorite fragments (small rock-like
objects surrounded by a purple/pink glow) by listening for a pulsating sound.
The louder it gets, the closer you are.


Travel faster:
--------------
Because you cannot swing freely without the Spidey targets, you can zip. First, zip
as far from the building as possible then quickly turn to another building before
you reach the first one. Keep doing this so you can travel faster.


Easy health:
------------
When you find a ambulance, it should be on top of the truck. Otherwise, try to complete
one of the story mode missions.


Back to morning:
----------------
When it is dark, do the City Alert one time.


Construction site:
------------------
After you have completed the Final Showdown mission, swing somewhere far then go on the
map and look for the Financial District. Go there. Go to the left until you see a glass
building. That is the construction site after it was broken.
Note: You will see the little square that you was fighting in with Venom and Sandman.


Cheat:
------


While playing the game spiderman 3, press escape and the pause menu appers, type the
cheat "symbiotespider" and then you unlock the black suited spiderman.


How to get at the maximum hight:
--------------------------------


This is a fantistic hint. While fighting with dragon tale or robots jump as high as
you can and then while in air pull your enemy using 'E' and 'S' when it is near jump
on it and again pull it with your web and jump on it you must do this quickly as
possible repeat this until you reach above the high buildings.


Defeating Kingpin - King Pin must pay:
--------------------------------------


When dueling first time with Kingpin, full your combo meter by giving kingpin power attacks.
Also counter attack him several times. Try to dodge his every attack. When ur combo meter
gets glows, come in rage mode and give him 'Web ball Frenzy'.And in remaining time of rage
mode, give him 'Dark Puppet Master' i.e. Air super attack. This will damage him a lot.
Don't give him any other super attack as it doesn't damage him. Another way to full your
combo meter is to give web hail frenzy i.e. giving web ball frenzy from air.
Do this trick at the next fight with kingpin and you'll surely defeat him.

The Saboteur

Cheat Codes:

Extra Cash:
-----------
About halfway through the game you get a mission to knock out a large gun across
the river from the Eiffel Tower. Nearby on the same building is a smaller Anti-
Aircraft gun. If you eliminate all the guards nearby but leave the AA gun intact,
when the mission is completed you can use the AA gun to shoot down Zeppelins.
This will give you a level 5 alarm which starts a series of airplanes strafing
you. Zeppelins earn $50 and planes $100 when shot down, which is pretty easy,
and seem to be unlimited so it's easy to keep racking up the cash for as long as
you want. Once you've enough for the time being, just hop off and die. When you
return to the HQ you'll have lost your weapons but have plenty of cash to buy
more. This can be repeated as often as you want in the game as long as you don't
destroy the AA gun.


Defeating Nazis:
----------------
Act suspiciously to lure a Nazi away from his post, then kill him when no one is
around.


Find a Path Up Buildings:
-------------------------
If there is a scenic point atop a building that you cant figure out how to climb,
follow the glowing yellow lamps -- they'll show the way to the scenic point.


Vehicle Locations:
------------------
The following vehicles can be found at the locations below:

Bauer Fuel Truck   - West Picardie / North Normadie /
                     Near the river, where the road the road hooks around
Gestapo GS         - Gare Saint Lazarre / This is parked North of the checkpoint
                     near the tower with propaganda speaker (right side of the road)
Armed ZP750        - Raise the alarm level and it will come to you.
Gestapo Cruiser    - On streets around Nazi areas (Not GS)
Bauer Armored      - The Armed Baur is located near the railroad at the back of the
                     Chateau Chambord which you unlock as a target in the mission
                     "Set up us the Bomb."
Kaiser Bulletproof - Trocadero / First city section with the freeplay destroyable
                     object (marked by white diamond). Look in the alley way (the
                     security checkpoint closest to the huge building).

Panther Mk3 Tank   - Montmarte / The tank is just northeast of the Belle HQ. It is
                     just north of the church where you meet Father Dennis for some
                     side missions. It is in some bombed out buildings.


Infinite Contraband:
--------------------
Find an AA gun somewhere relatively isolated. Eliminate the guards around the gun.
Get on an AA gun and shoot any zeppelin you see (Zeppelins respawn indefinitely).
When the alarm level gets too high, just save your game and load it again and your
alarm level will be gone and you keep everything you just earned.


Climbing buildings:
-------------------
When trying to climb up to a scenic point on top of a building, follow the glowing
yellow lamps.


Easy Mad Bomber Perk:
---------------------


Steal a Nazi vehicle and put it in your garage. Blow it up. Take a new one from
garage keeper and blow it again. Repeat that to complete 5 vehicle requirement
for the Mad Bomber perk.


How to unlock the Nazi Knife:
-----------------------------
To enter in this code, first open The Saboteur then proceed to press [F4] to bring
up the code entry box. Then type in the code: BH87-VJ52-VK5Z-8J4N


Racing Made Easy:
-----------------
To win a countryside race, walk to the side of each participating car and aim your
gun to the driver so he'll get out. Do this to all of the other drivers. Then, get
back to your car and start the one-man race.



Easy "High Diver" achievement:
------------------------------


Climb the Eiffel Tower, then look for the swimming pool below. Jump from that
area, and land in the swimming pool to get the "High Diver" achievement.


Easy "The Legend Begins" achievement:
-------------------------------------


After destroying the fuel depot at the start of the game and returning to the
Belle De Nuit, drop off Luc. Do not enter the Belle De Nuit. Instead, unlock
all three Mayhem perks to unlock machine guns on the Aurora race car. An easy
way to unlock the last Mayhem perk is to find an open tank, hijack it, and
destroy any Nazi vehicles that appear. Note: An open tank can be found in the
ruins of a building a few meters behind the church that is on top of the hill.
The church is located behind the Belle De Nuit. Then, go to "The Race" where
Sean must race against Dierker in Saarbrucken. During the race, do not pass
Dierker, but get close enough to him to shoot his car with the machine guns
on the Aurora. Keep shooting Dierker's car until it becomes damaged and the
game credits appear, indicating you have finished the game by killing Dierker.
You can either watch the credits or skip them. After the credits, you will get
"The Legend Begins" achievement, and a "Mission Failed" screen will appear,
allowing you to retry the mission.

Easy Intel:
-----------
The following works on the mission entitled "Hunted". After fighting your
way through a basement (after going underneath a bridge, across a field,
et cetera), you'll reemerge outside. A nearby house next to a vending
machine and a car should be your target from here. Inside the house,
there's a laptop on the table. This is a piece of Intel, and collecting
all thirty of them in the game will unlock all of the Cheat options available.
If you collect the Laptop, and then head through the nearby checkpoint, it
will be permanently acquired on your save file. Kill yourself at this point
(a Grenade is an easy way to do so), and backtrack to the house. Collect
the Laptop again, go to the checkpoint, kill yourself, and repeat the
process. By doing this, you can collect thirty laptops without actually
collecting all thirty of them.


Prestige Mode:
--------------
To unlock Prestige Mode, which is a multiplayer-only mode, you must reach
experience level fifty-five. Instead of capping out at level fifty-five,
which is the highest level, Prestige Mode allows you to start again from
level one. This can be done a total of ten times, giving you ten different
icons in in-game lobbies to show your extreme achievement.

Arcade Mode itself is split into two options - Full Challenge or Level

Simply ranking up is enough to unlock the ordinary perks, but weapon
modifications like laser sights, grenade launcher attachments and silencers
are unlocked with specific challenges. Luckily these are pretty
straightforward: want a sight for your M16? Get 50 kills with your M16.
And better still, unlocking these gives you a bucket-load of XP towards
your next promotion.


Crew Expendable: Desert Eagle:
------------------------------
In the second large containment room, run ahead of your team. There are
two enemies with Desert Eagles who will try to surprise you around two
corners, depending on the path you take.


Game Over: SSgt. Griggs's "Success!" comment:

Killing all three RPG enemies in the pursuing trucks in Game Over
results in SSgt. Griggs saying "Success!"


Multi-player: Headshots:
------------------------
When you kill another player with a headshot, a metal "ping" sound
will play to confirm it.


Faster experience:
------------------
To level up quicker than usual, try to use the same gun until all the marksman
and elite challenges are completed. They provide huge boosts and will quickly
level you up to get new guns. However, do not use those guns yet. Just keep
on the challenge until it has completed. The third phase of the challenge
usually ends with 1,000 experience points and that will bump you up a rank
almost in itself. Also, do not forget about the strange challenges like
jumping 15 feet and surviving or falling 30 feet to your death. To get that
one if not previously unlocked play the "Countdown" map and jump into one of
the open missile silos. You will get instant experience points for simply dying.
Also, remember to go prone and crouch to get those challenges as well.


Better accuracy:
----------------
Once you get the Red Dot Scope addon to your weapons, use it over the ACOG scope.
The red dot will not enhance or take away anything and provides a better aimpoint
on most weapons. The ACOG scope will actually add more range to your weapon, but
take away accuracy which accomplishes almost nothing; especially so for snipers
because it takes away range and adds nothing.


Sniping:
--------
If a target is moving make sure to lead it. If you are not making shots try to
lead your target more. Also, if you are a skilled sniper try using the M40A3 over
the M21. It has a slower reload time and rate of fire, but it has enough damage
to kill a target in one shot instead of two or three. It also allows you to be
less noticeable with less rounds being fired; so someone else cannot follow
the tracer shot back to you. A good setup for the sniper is the Claymore perk,
to alert you when an enemy is trying to close in on your rear, and either the
Sleight Of Hand or Stopping Power, then Iron Lungs to give you more time to
line up your shots.

Faster experience:
------------------
To level up, gain points, and to complete challenges easily, find a TDM game of
the map "Shipment", preferably with a lot of people. Make sure you have the
Steady Aim/Martyrdom/Stopping Power perks on and choose a gun you want to level
up. Shipment is a very small close shoulder-to-shoulder map. Just run around
holding down the trigger, taking down as many people as possible.
This is very fast paced and you should tick points very quickly.


Death From Above: Easy points:
------------------------------
In Arcade mode you can score easy points by shooting the building with the 105mm
or the 40mm. When the building is destroyed you will get 1,000 points.


One Shot, One Kill: Canine help:
--------------------------------
When you are on the mission where you have to carry your captain (when you are in
the Ghillie Suits),you will find abandoned swimming pool with some rabid dogs at
the bottom. Do not kill them. Just run around the edge and do not fall in. When
you drop your captain off behind the Ferris wheel and both of you get into position,
there will be a patrol after you. When your captain tells you to open fire with your
sniper rifle, shoot anyone on the left side, closest to the building with the pool
in it. Everyone will hit the deck after one of their teammates dies. The dogs will
sense danger, jump out of the window, and start attacking the soldiers. This
is helpful as at least four or five of the soldiers die.
This also saves ammunition.


Dog attack in All Ghillied Up mission:
--------------------------------------
In the 'All Ghillied Up' mission, you will come across a wild dog eating a dead
soldier's remains. You will be told to leave it alone, but if you want a very
difficult challenge in the game, shoot it. You will be attacked by a large pack
of angry dogs.


Extra ammunition for R700 sniper in Multiplayer mode:
-----------------------------------------------------
At level 38 in Multiplayer mode, you get the Overkill Perk Class 2 (located in the
Perk 2 or Red Perks). This allows you to carry two primary weapons rather than a
pistol. Some of the guns in online play can share ammunition. If you are a skilled
sniper and prefer the bolt action to a semi-auto sniper, you can share ammo between
the R700 (unlocked at level 34) and the G3 assault rifle (unlocked at level 25).
Instead of having 40 rounds, you will have 152 rounds for the sniper, effectively
giving you an endless supply of ammo for the R700. If you are a G3 user, you will
gain an extra 40 rounds (two clips). This works both ways; since you share ammunition,
you might not want to use too much ammo with the G3. Also, there are more combinations
than just this one; experiment with different guns to see which ones can share ammo.
When you reach level 46, you will get the M14 Assault Rifle. In the class that you
want to have the extra ammunition, you will need the M14 Assault Rifle and M21 Sniper
Rifle as weapons. To use those two weapons, you must have Overkill (obtained at level
38) and your second Perk on Overkill. For the other two Perks, you can have whatever
desired.


Good sniping location in Crossfire map in Multiplayer mode:
-----------------------------------------------------------
This spot can only be reached when you are playing the old school free-for-all section.
Go to the building at the very end of the map on the opposite side of the bus. You can
get to the very top of the building that is around the corner. First, get to the second
story where the chair is found. Get on the top of the chair facing the wall, and jump.
You may have to run and jump, but eventually you will catch an edge. You can then work
your way up to a great sniping position.


Dog attack in All Ghillied Up mission:
--------------------------------------
In the "All Ghillied Up" mission, you will come across a wild dog eating a dead soldier's
remains. You will be told to leave it alone, but if you want a very difficult challenge
in the game, shoot it. You will be attacked by a large pack of angry dogs.


How to Rank Up Quicker:
-----------------------
The memory address that contains the CoD4 XP has been located, and you can now modify
it, making leveling up a much faster and easier process. This means that you can easily
get the Commander Rank within a few hours of buying the game, and you can unlock all
perks and weapons.
The memory address needed is: CBF0E68 (Now believed to have been changed to CB1FE80)

You can use a tool such as Tsearch to edit the value of that address (your XP), so that
you'll only need one XP to get to the new CoD 4 rank.
Here's how: open Tsearch, start a new script, enter the memory address, then enter in
the XP you would like. Keep in mind - you'll want to back up your Call of Duty 4 profile
just in case something goes wrong - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
More details: if you just want to quickly go up a level, take your current XP from the
Rank screen in the multiplayer mode, then add the amount of XP you will need to go up a
level. You'll want to subtract one or two XP in order to make it easy to gain a level.
Then, go online and kill someone, or get an assist - BAM! - instant level up, and
possibly a new rank.
Overkill perk, here you come! Seriously, though, I tested this method, and found it much
more enjoyable to play through multiplayer the real way.


Helecopters easy takedown:
--------------------------
If you are playing with some really good people and they get helecopters alot then
bring out your nuke toob (grenade launcher) and shoot the helecopter with it. It's very
effective on the helecopters.


Unlock All Intel Automatically:
-------------------------------
You can unlock all of the intel laptops automatically on the PC version of CoD4, but since
you'll need to mess with your game's files a little bit, you're doing so at your own risk.
Simply go to your player profile (it will look something like this:
C:\program files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\player\
YOURPROFILENAMEHERE),
and search for a file called config.cfg. Open the file by double-clicking it (or right-click
it and open it in Notepad) and search for "cheat_points", minus the quotes, via the CTRL+F
function. There will be a number next to cheat_points -- change it to "30" and all intel
laptops will be automatically unlocked!


Crossfire: Sniping location:
----------------------------
The online Crossfire map has a very good sniping location. The spot can only be reached
when you are playing the old school free 4 all section. The building at the very end of
the map on the opposite side of the bus. You can get to the very top of the building that
is around the corner. First, get to the second story where the chair is found. Get on the
top of the chair facing the wall and jump. You may have to run and jump, but eventually
you will catch an edge. You can then work your way up to the perfect sniping position.


Mile High Club: Airplane reference:
-----------------------------------
In the "Mile High Club" level, during the opening sequence when a hole is being cut to
drop into the plane, somebody says, "Surely you can't be serious". Captain Price then
says, "I'm serious, and don't call me Shirley". This is a line from the movie Airplane.


Multi-player: Extra ammunition:

At level 38 in Multi-player mode, you get the Overkill perk (located in the Perk 2 or red

must have your second perk on Overkill. For the other two perks you can have whatever
desired.

Create an MP5 class. For your side arm, choose the M9. Because the MP5 and M9 share ammo
you will have 90 rounds of ammo instead of 60. This is a good trick if you prestiged and
have lost your Bandolier perk. When you reach level 32, enable Bandolier in this class
and you will get 270 rounds of ammo instead of 180.


Faster reloads:
---------------
Use the following trick if you are playing online or in Carrier mode. When your gun runs
out of ammo you usually have to re-load, then cock your weapon. Note: This does not include
RPGs, and rifle mounted grenade launchers. This trick makes it so you do not have to cock
your gun after re-loading. When you run out of ammo, let your character reload, then
quickly sprint forwards a short distance. Stop sprinting and return your gun to the firing
position. It will be ready to fire without re-cocking.

F.N.G.: Obstacle course:
------------------------
When Gaz tells you to go to Captain Price, walk out of the building and move towards
the fence. Follow the fence. On the left are three men in a crouch. Walk past them
to find an obstacle course. You can run it for fun.


Backlot: Sniping locations:
---------------------------
On the Marines side of "Flag B" is sheet metal guarding the top of a building. Climb the
ladder to get to the top. To stand on the sheet metal itself, climb onto a ledge and
slowly go back and forth until you see the "Climb" option. Make your way to the ledge
besides the building overlooking the tiny enclosure. You will see a white radiator.
Jump into it. There are little knobs sticking out of the buildings that look like this.

Cautiously jump on each knob until you can jump onto a balcony. From here you can snipe
180 degrees from the destroyed building to the construction building.


Creek: Sniping location:
------------------------
On the Marine/S.A.S side, for defensive sniping go into the barn. In one corner are some
pallets (wooden boards). Climb them onto a ledge that goes around the barn. There are
many gaps in the wall that you can snipe from. Note: Helicopters can see you.

At the bottom of the hill, go across the creek. There is a rock with grass on it sheltered
by two boulders. Wear a Ghilly suit and snipe from it. You can snipe the entire cliff ledge.


Perk Up:
--------
Your first perk slot is mostly reserved for extra explosives, or an attachment to one of
your weapons like a silencer or red-dot sight. The standard soldier has one frag grenade
and one flash, smoke or stun grenade. Tier one perks can give you three more of either,
two charges of C4 or two RPG rockets. But unlocking those extra frags could take a while:
they're not available until level 41.

Perk: Eavesdrop
Lets you listen in on what the enemy team is saying even when on they're on their private
channel.

Perk: Bandolier
Allows you to carry more ammo.

Perk: Stopping power
By stopping, we mean killing. This perk pumps up the damage on all your firearms.

Perk: Juggernaught
Decreases damage taken, giving you extra time to close in on enemies and stab them for
the kill.

Perk: Sleight of Hand
Reduces reloading time by half.

Perk: Double-tap
Unlocked at level 29 - weapon fires at twice the rate for a short time.

Perk: Overkill
Allows you to carry two primary weapons.

Perk: Sonic Boom
Increases damage of explosive weapons.

Perk: Extreme Conditioning
Increases length of sprints.

Perk: Last Stand
Continue firing after killed.

Perk: Martyrdom
Drop a grenade after killed.

When in console mode if you begin typing a cheat, press tab to finish the command,
then add the modifier to the end.
EXAMPLE: to turn on cluster grenades you would type cluster [TAB] and it would type
the rest of the cheat, then u hit [space] and add a 1 at the end to turn it on. Likewise
for infinite ammo you would type ignoreammo [tab] 1
you can type different words into the large console (accessed by pressing shift ~) and toy
around with modifying some of the console options to test their functions.


Trainer problem:
----------------


This is a tip and warning for them who use trainer to play this game.There are some trainers
which will crack the game files too much and cause some impossible and annoying things.Like
when u are about to tak control of the nuclear missile control room,ur captain price and
others will stop moving and it will prevent u from planting th c4 on the wall. Again in this
mission when u,captain price and the other one are about to go up by a lift,u will fall down
like a water drop and the lift eill go up leaveing u in a hole from where u can not get out.
To solve this problem u have to disable the trainer for a short time. then u can again use it
to play the game.


Strange running:
----------------
In any multi-player match, online or offline, take out your pistol and sprint while looking
up. Normally without looking up you will do normal arm motions. However, while looking up
you will flail your arms in circles and lean backwards.

Dont you hate it when you hear your claymore pop but the enemy has made it through hurt or
unharmed. All you need for this hint is a in some comen sense.
First you need a level with some at least 1 car that is no broken down. Go up to the car
and place one claymore facing the car at a 45 degree angle and place it down. put the second
claymore facing out where you want your victim to be make sure that you second claymore is
facing your first. When the enemy will run past it the first one will blow triggering the
second one to blow when the second one blows it blow up the car killing you enemy cluless.
It kills anyone even if they don't get hurt by the claymore they will by the car.If you are
more expericed you could use 1 claymore instead of 2. You place the claymore lasers sticking
out of a the corner of the car. If it blows the car will, but it can only be placed at a
corner. Their are plenty of combinations that you can do and i think that i unlocked the
gate for you. The only way it wont work is if the enemy detects the claymore.


The Sins Of The Father: Lewis and Clark reference:

Before the ambush begins, look on top of the gas station roof. The men's names are Pvt. Lewis
and Pvt. Clarke, a reference to the explorers.


Multi-player: Unlimited ammunition:

Go to split screen mode and select Free-For-All. Have one player choose the Marksman combo
(includes the R700 rifle and M9 pistol). Have another player select the War Fighter combo
(includes the G36C rifle and the G3 rifle). Have the player with the War Fighter combo kill
the Marksman. Take out your G3 and trade it for the R700. If the person has shot a few rounds
it will be refilled to the maximum. The R700 holds 32 bullets per round. If you shoot one
clip, go back to the body and it will refilled again.


Multi-player prestige medals:

Reach the indicated rank to unlock the corresponding prestige medal.

Level 1:  Gold shield with silver eagle.
Level 2:  Blue titanic diamond with star spikes.
Level 3:  Emerald in the middle with four lines with circles on the ends.
Level 4:  Black circle in the middle with white, gold, maroon, and tan edges.
Level 5:  Gold badge with one eye in the middle.
Level 6:  Gold eagle in the middle with six lines.
Level 7:  Thin cross with wings on the outside and a square gold lined sheet in the middle.
Level 8:  Red diamond in middle with a triangle shield on the outside with gold and white trim.
Level 9:  Maroon and black Star Of David.
Level 10: Gold iron cross.


Multi-player: Extra ammunition:

When you reach level 46 you will get the M14 assault rifle and you will have the M21 sniper.
In the class that you want to have the extra ammo you will need have the M21 and M14 as a
weapon. To have those two weapons you must have Overkill (obtained at level 38). You also
must have your second perk on Overkill. For the other two perks you can have whatever desired.


Keeping your sniper rifle steady:

Note: In Zombie mode, this will work without having to use the devmap code. Otherwise you
must first enable the devmap

Zoom in with your scope, press [Shift] to steady, then release [Shift].
The scope will stay perfectly still.


Multi-player: Easy kill streak:

To get a seven kill streak, do not call in your helicopter immediately. Instead, go out on
a suicide mission and die. When you respawn, find a good hiding location and call in your
helicopter. Then, every kill your helicopter gets will add on to a kill streak. For example,
if your helicopter gets three kills you will get a UAV, 5 kills airstrike, 7 kills, another
helicopter. If you die at any time during this, then your helicopter will not count towards
a kill streak any more; it is important that you hide.


Vendetta - No scope reference:

In the first Russian mission, at the part where you must protect your friends below on the
streets with the sniper, after the first part you must move to another position with some
Nazis with dogs . If you manage to kill a Nazi or dog without using the scope on the sniper
(no-scope), Dimitri will say "No Scope!!? Good!!" in a very enthusiastic voice.
